Collaborate with and mentor software and integration engineers to drive operational acceptance criteria for projects and features.<br \/>\nWork alongside the team to increase quality, resiliency, reduce risk, and drive efficiencies in development, release, and operational tasks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree (Engineering, Computer Science or related field) or equivalent<\/p>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5 to 7 years of related DevOps experience<br \/>\nExperience in software development, maintenance, or support of large-scale software programs and DevOps pipelines<br \/>\nExperience with VMWare and Linux OS<br \/>\nExperience administering git version control systems, git command-line experience required (additional experience with Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab, etc. preferred)<br \/>\nExperience with developing with the Python language<br \/>\nExperience compiling and releasing large-scale software systems in *nix. (CMake, gcc\/g++, Java, Ada experience preferred)<br \/>\nExperience reviewing compiler output and identifying errors in different programing languages<br \/>\nExperience developing software with Agile development methodologies<br \/>\nExperience designing, implementing and operating build &amp; release automation and continuous integration and deployment.<br \/>\nExperience managing operational monitoring, metrics, and logging systems.<br \/>\nScripting\/automation development skills.<br \/>\nUNIX system administration skills preferably in a container focused environment<br \/>\nExperience releasing software and interfacing with customers and QA preferred.<br \/>\nAbility to design and implement robust and maintainable utilities.<br \/>\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret Government Clearance<br \/>\nPreferred:<br \/>\nXUnit architecture testing for unit testing like Google Test, pyUnit, jUnit, cppUnit Lite.<br \/>\nbash\/csh\/perl<br \/>\nDocker<br \/>\nCMake<br \/>\nGcc\/java\/ada development pipelines<br \/>\nAtlassian tool suite including Jira, BitBucket, and Confluence<br \/>\nDevelopment measurement and validation tools like SonarQube and UCC<br \/>\nStorage and CM tools such as Gitlab, Nexus, Artifactory<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Work in a collaborative team using Agile software development methodology<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":[],"class_list":["post-203","awsm_job_openings","type-awsm_job_openings","status-publish","hentry","job-type-full-time","job-location-east-brunswick","job-location-nj-09916","job-location-us"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/simaxive.com\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/awsm_job_openings\/203","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/simaxive.com\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/awsm_job_openings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/simaxive.com\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/awsm_job_openings"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/simaxive.com\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/3"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/simaxive.com\/careers\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=203"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
